How do I schedule a tryout?
Tryouts for the team require swimmers to demonstrate specific skills based on their group level:
For Pre Comp, Guppies, Novice, and HS Prep:
- Swimmers must swim unassisted legal 25 freestyle and backstroke
For higher level groups:
- Swimmers must swim 50 freestyle and backstroke
- Some knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly is required
For J1 and higher groups:
- Advanced technique in all four strokes is expected
- Greater endurance and technical proficiency will be evaluated
- Swimmers should demonstrate competitive-level skills

How do I view my child's account?
You can view your child's account through the Captyn swim management software, which is the same account you used to register.
Through your Captyn account, you can declare your child for swim meets, track their attendance, view upcoming events, and manage other team-related activities.
How do I declare my child's attendance for a swim meet?
You must declare whether you want your child to attend a swim meet or not through the Captyn swim management software. Coaches will choose the events for the swimmers.
Once you declare attendance, you are responsible for your child's attendance for each day you sign up for. Meet information will be available in the meet section of Captyn.
**Swim meets are expected for all groups besides Guppies, Precomp, HS Prep, and Exploratory.**
How can I view my account balance/invoices?
For convenient access to your financial information, simply log into your Captyn account where you can view your current account balance, check past and upcoming invoices, and manage your payments all in one place. The financial management section of Captyn provides everything you need to stay up-to-date with your account status.
