Program Overview
A transitional small group class building independence and foundational stroke skills with supportive group instruction and two dedicated instructors in the water.
What You'll Learn
- Assisted Freestyle - Swimming with kickboard assistance and developing arm coordination
- Basic Backstroke - Introduction to backstroke position and movement with support
- Breathing Foundations - Learning bubble breathing and rhythmic breathing patterns
- Kicking Technique - Building strong flutter kick with instructor guidance
- Water Independence - Progressing toward swimming 25 yards with equipment and building toward unassisted swimming
- Group Learning - Following multi-step instructions in a small group environment
Class Information
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Instructor Ratio: 2:4 instructor ratio
- Age Group: Ages 4-7 years
- Prerequisites: Completion of Level 1 or equivalent water comfort
