SWIM TEAM DESIGNED FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Ages 12 & Under / 13+ 

 Prerequisite: Must be able to swim unassisted 25 yards

Program Details: The Trident Exploratory Team provides a comprehensive and adaptive swim environment specifically designed for individuals with special needs who are ready to take their swimming to the next level. Our specialized program focuses on learning and mastering all four competitive strokes while building confidence, improving water safety, and enhancing overall swimming skills through individualized instruction and adaptive teaching methods.

Our experienced coaches understand that every swimmer learns differently and at their own pace. We create personalized training plans that accommodate various learning styles, physical abilities, and cognitive needs while maintaining high expectations for growth and achievement. Participants develop competitive stroke techniques, improve endurance and strength, and build aquatic independence in a supportive, encouraging team environment.

The program emphasizes achievable goal-setting and celebrates individual milestones, fostering personal growth, self-confidence, and a lifelong love for swimming. Through patient, individualized coaching and modified training approaches, swimmers progress at their own pace while experiencing the joy and camaraderie of being part of a swim team.

Program Structure: Swimmers are grouped by age and ability level, receiving personalized attention during each practice session. Our adaptive coaching methods ensure that every participant can successfully learn and improve their swimming skills while building lasting friendships within our inclusive community.

Thursdays 5:45-6:45pm Sundays 11:30am-12:30pm
